SAEINDIA NIT Kurukshetra Collegiate Club presents the most awaited AUTOMOTIVE workshop of North India- AUTOKRITI 5.0. "AUTOKRITI 5.0 A Diesel Car Overhaul Workshop" is a National Workshop organised by SAEINDIA NIT Kurukshetra Collegiate Club, the NIT Kurushetra Chapter of Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE). It is the same Club that umbrellas the team NITROX, the team that crushed all other NITs, IITs, BITS Pilani, DTU and other leading Engineering colleges of India in BAJA 2013 and secured an adorable ALL INDIA 10th RANK out of 262 teams in a CUT THROAT COMPETITION. It is a chance for you to learn from the CHAMPIONS! A unique workshop where you will be allowed to disassemble, study and assemble car components WITH YOUR OWN HANDS. An experience which no book can teach and no lab can give.

EXPERT LECTURE: Expert from the automotive industry will take theoretical sessions on automotive science. Topics to be covered- basic automotive concepts, various departments of an automobile, advanced technologies used in automobiles. PRACTICAL SESSION: Overhauling of a Diesel car. Participants in groups, under a mentor from the club, will disassemble and study different components of a car. Fields to be covered- -Engine, Transmission, Suspension, Steering and Brakes -Advanced engines used in modern day cars -Turbochargers, intercoolers and air conditioners

How to reach NIT Kurukshetra

Take any auto-rickshaw from Peepli/Railway Station for 3rd Gate of Kurukshetra University-Rs.25. From there, rickshaw for NIT. If coming in group, take direct auto-rickshaw for NIT Campus. NIT Campus, Kurukshetra- 136119
