About Event

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering in association with the Industry Institute Partnership Cell (IIPC), Kongu Engineering College, proudly presents a one-day Hands-on IoT Bootcamp: “From Idea to Prototype.”

This bootcamp is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the Internet of Things (IoT) by taking them through the complete journey—from conceptualizing an idea to building a working prototype. Participants will gain practical exposure to IoT hardware, real-time data processing, cloud integration, and the basics of intelligent systems.

Through interactive sessions and guided hands-on activities, students will learn how to interface sensors, program microcontrollers, connect devices to the cloud, and visualize data in real time. The workshop also introduces how data collected from IoT systems can be utilized for building smart and intelligent applications.

By the end of the bootcamp, participants will have developed a functional IoT prototype and acquired essential skills required to build innovative solutions for real-world problems in domains such as smart homes, healthcare, agriculture, and smart cities.

This workshop is ideal for beginners and tech enthusiasts who are eager to explore emerging technologies and kickstart their journey in IoT and smart system development.
