This hands-on workshop, happening from April 21 to 26, 2025, at Nandha Engineering College, is designed for students, media learners, and educators who want to explore the world of cinema. Learn from industry experts about Editing, Cinematography, Screenplay Writing, Direction, Makeup, and Acting – all essential elements of great filmmaking.

Whether you’re a beginner or have some experience, this workshop will help you gain practical skills, connect with like-minded creatives, and take your passion for films to the next level.

This workshop not only provides hands-on training in filmmaking but also offers participants a unique opportunity to showcase their learning through a Documentary Creation Challenge.

Workshop Sessions
Editing – Learn professional editing techniques to enhance storytelling.

Cinematography – Master camera operations, lighting, and shot composition.

Screenplay Writing – Develop the skill of writing compelling scripts for films.

Direction – Understand the responsibilities of a director in bringing stories to life.

Makeup for Film – Learn character transformation through makeup techniques.

Acting – Improve performance skills with expert guidance.

Documentary Creation & Awards
At the end of the workshop, participants will take part in a Documentary Creation Challenge, where they will work in teams to create a short documentary. A special jury, including our Chief Guest – a renowned Film Director, will evaluate the projects, and the best team will be awarded for their creativity and storytelling.

This is a unique chance to apply your filmmaking skills, collaborate with peers, and get recognized by professionals in the industry.
