About Event
Tathva is an annual techno-management festival, organized by the National Institute of Technology Calicut at Kozhikode, in Kerala, India, in the month of September or October. It is one of the biggest technical festivals in South India.
Over a span of 16 years, what arose as an elementary gathering of a few scientifically inquisitive minds who thought beyond the realms of a few obese engineering textbooks so as to bring the knowledge into practicality, has now ignited a wildfire in the aspiring technical minds of our nation.Assembling all the components for the processing of a perfect technological fest,Tathva is now much ahead of it’s age.
Impressive footfall, innumerable events with an extensive scope of knowledge and subjects and enthralling workshops are just part and package of this technical extravaganza. The 2016 edition of our dear techfest is all set to sail into greater distances of amusement and perfection.
Enticing students from over 800 colleges pan India,Tathva presents a myriad of events,workshops,competitions pron-nites etc.Tathva,as we’d like to call it, is an exuberance in style.

WORKSHOPS AND LECTURES
Ever since the inception of Tathva, we've held impeccably organized workshops and world class lectures that have since become synonymous with our image. Our stage has witnessed pioneers like Dr A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, former president of India, Dr G Madhavan Nair, former chairman of ISRO, and Jimmy Wales, founder of Wikipedia. This year as well, tathva lectures look to awe and inspire its participants with the likes of eminent speakers like Archana sharma, Tessy thomas, Prateek sethi etc.
EVENTS
Encompassing over 60 challenging events of varied style,we put the talents into test like never before.At the end of an event,a winner and a participant,get equally inspired to create more.

Tathva Nites, a perfect blend of culture and art, attracting an audience of over 8000 spectators every year, has become synonymous with grandeur. This year, the spectacle continues to scale a hitherto unforeseen as artists, the likes of Ash King and When Chai Meets Toast look to enthrall the crowds at the NITC Open Air Theatre.
WHEELS
Presenting the best modified cars from South India all under one tent, Wheels ushers in one of the biggest gatherings of motor heads in India.
ADIZYA
Adizya, a brilliant manoeuvre started by the architecture students of NIT-C, within its short span, entertains a large audience with creative and interactive sessions with renowned architects.
