About Event

The seminar objective is to create awareness of biomass/biofuels (from food waste, wood chips, waste oils etc), in a way that is understood by the public. It is also about linking existing small -medium size businesses to an interested audience (Residents or businesses). This seminar is to encourage the investment in bioenergy by indian private sector to improve energy security, increase local clean energy production and use, increase job creation, facilitate technology transfer and mitigate the environmental impact of industrial waste. The seminar is expected to identify and seek to remove impediments to private sector investment in the sector. Government officials, Private Sector, finance and technology providers will participate to this high level event which will be a unique venue for promoting bioenergy applications and investments in the sub region by presenting technologies, expertise and financial sources eligible for such investment.

The course will cover biochemistry, planning and technology of biodigesters and the experiences on mass dissemination programs. The topics are ranging from planning, construction and operation to financing, policy implementation and local market development.
