About Event

All that you need to know about Buildathon-FutureForge2k26
Buildathon - FutureForge 2K26 is a 10-hour hackathon presented by the School of Engineering, Department of Computer Science & Engineering, Vels Institute of Science, Technology & Advanced Studies (VISTAS). The event
is designed around real-world technology challenges across AI, smart cities, education, finance, agriculture, food systems. Teams are expected to understand a problem deeply, design a practical solution, build a working prototype, and present their work to judges.
Theme: Future Forge
Who can participate: B.Tech CSE students of all years, including 1st year. The event is inter college, so students from other colleges are welcome. Each participant may be part of only one team.
Team size: 3-4 members. Team composition is locked at registration; no member swaps are allowed after
shortlisting.
Build format: Offline, on-campus build challenge at Vels Thiruvanmiyur Campus.
Technology: Teams may choose their own technology stack. No specific technology is prescribed.
Data: No dataset is provided by the organizers. Teams may use public datasets, APIs, or their own
synthetic/simulated data.
AI tools: ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, Claude and other AI coding tools are allowed without disclosure requirements
