About Event

The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Kongu Engineering College, in association with the Industry Institute Partnership Cell (IIPC) and Intel® Unnati Centre of Excellence, proudly presents a Two-Day Hands-on Workshop on "Single Board Computers for Embedded Systems and IoT Applications using Intel® UP² Kit."

This workshop is designed to provide students, researchers, and engineering enthusiasts with practical knowledge of modern embedded systems and Internet of Things (IoT) development using the powerful Intel® UP² Single Board Computer. Participants will gain hands-on experience in hardware interfacing, Linux-based development, GPIO programming, sensor integration, communication protocols, and Python programming for embedded applications.

The workshop bridges the gap between academic learning and industry requirements by offering real-world implementation experience through interactive sessions and practical demonstrations. By the end of the program, participants will be equipped with the essential skills required to develop intelligent IoT and embedded solutions for next-generation applications.
