About Event

Startup Summit 1.0 is a student-led initiative aimed at fostering collaboration, innovation, and entrepreneurship. The summit features five flagship events: Pravartan, a pre-summit ideathon workshop; Thalir, an exciting startup pitching session; Tharanga Sangamam, an interactive talk with leaders from academia and industry; BharatBuild, a Low-code hackathon to create impactful prototypes using AI tools; and FinSmart, a team-based financial strategy challenge to solve real-world problems. Come be a part of this journey which has just begun!

Events

Pravartan – On 19th Sept, 2025, A pre-summit Ideathon Workshop where you will learn to pitch your ideas to the investors during the main Thalir event. Only the shortlisted students for the Thalir event are eligible to attend the Pravartan Workshop

Thalir – On 23rd Sept, 2025, An exciting Startup Pitching Session where budding entrepreneurs showcase their ventures and pitch their startup ideas to mentors, investors, and peers. Team of 2-4 persons of multi-disciplinary departments.

Tharanga Sangamam – On 23rd Sept, 2025, An interactive talk series featuring leaders from academia and industry who share insights, experiences, and lessons from their entrepreneurial journeys. This is an Individual event.

BharatBuild - On 24th Sept, 2025, A low-code hackathon where teams leverage AI tools to design innovative prototypes that address real-world challenges. A team size of 1-3 members.

FinSmart - On 24th Sept, 2025, A team-based money mastery challenge where participants craft financial strategies, balance budgets, and pitch impactful solutions. Team size 1-3 members
