Events

Paper Presentation:
1. The presentation should not exceed 10 slides, and participants are advised to use visual aids and pictorial representations instead of paragraphs for easy comprehension. (Email for Paper Submission: ieteeventsvtu@gmail.com)
2. Each team will be allotted 10 minutes for their presentation, followed by a 5 minute viva session.
3. The final decision will be made by the jury members.
Debug-a-thon:
1. The Debug-a-thon competition is open to teams of two members and consists of
two rounds.
2. In the first round, teams will be provided with a code to debug, and the team
that completes the task in the minimum time will be selected for the next round.
3. The qualified teams will then proceed to the second round.
Mindspark:
1. The Mindspark competition is designed for teams of two members and comprises two rounds.
2. Teams that qualify in the preliminary round will be eligible to participate in the second round.
3. The questions will be based on basic engineering concepts and principles.
Non - Technical Events:
Short Film Contest:
1. Participants must create an original short film (duration: 10-15 minutes).
2. Films can be in any genre (e.g. drama, comedy, horror).
3. The film should be original and not copyrighted, should not contain any objectionable.
4. Films must be submitted in digital format (e.g. MP4, AVI).
Debattle Zone:
1. Participants will engage in a debate on a given topic.
2. Topics will be announced on the spot.
3. Each team member will have a set time to present their argument.
Virtual Vortex:
1. Participants will compete in a virtual gaming tournament (e.g. BGMI, FreeFire).
2. The team that emerges victorious will receive a cash prize.
3. Game settings and rules will be announced before the tournament begins - Participants must have their own gaming devices.
