Enyugma, IIIT Bhagalpur opens its door to students from all walks of life, There’s no point in having an opinion if you can’t voice it. If you have a way of bringing conviction to your points, we have the perfect competition for you!

We are glad to share that our college, Indian Institute of Information Technology, Bhagalpur (IIIT Bhagalpur) is organising the first-ever edition of its Techno-Cultural-Sports Fest, Enyugma. This will be a national-level online festival with a huge range of Techno-Cultural Events organised in a span of 5 days from 18th-23rd October 2021. The event will witness participation from 150+ colleges all over India.

There’s no point in having an opinion if you can’t voice it. If you have a way of bringing conviction to your points, we have the perfect competition for you!

Rules and Regulations:

There will be 2 rounds that will be stretched on 2 days.
Round 1 will be the Elimination round and round 2 will be the final Round.
Only the students selected on the basis of their scores will advance to, and appear for the second round.
Following rules and regulations are specifically for round 1:
The camera should be kept on while giving a speech and mic should be turned on only when necessary
3 minutes will be allocated to each individual for presenting their Arguments
Speaker shall not be interrupted by other participants during the speech
An individual can always refer to bullet points they might have taken while researching. However, completely reading from a piece of paper is discouraged
POIs will be immediately raised after the speech
Participants may raise a hand to get recognized by the judge
For follow up, the same procedure should be followed i.e. request the judge to grant the PoI (only 1 follow up allowed)
POI should not exceed 20 seconds
The PoIs and the right to replies should be addressed to the moderator (for example, with due permission of the moderator I would like to ask that how is going to prove…….. moderator sir I would like to answer by saying ……)
An individual can only ask a total of 2 POIs in the entire debate round to anyone
The debate will be in English, however, if you're stuck, you can use Hindi but revert to English as soon as possible
Round 2 details will be shared among qualified contenders.
