With immense pleasure, we would like to inform you that, IEEE SB of Jeppiaar Institute of Technology, is organizing a "Student Project Competition - IEEE YESIST12 PRELIMS" on July 12th, 2019. It is in connection to the Fifth International student project contest to be organized in Thailand on 7th and 8th of September 2019 of prize worth $1000.

About the event:

IEEE YESIST12: AGE OF INNOVATION (Formerly SS12) is a Coding and Making Challenge organized by Madras IEEE Education Society Chapter, in partnership with IEEE entities, Universities, and leading technology companies. The challenge is conducted to recognize the best social innovation application on the theme, "PREPARING FOR FUTURE: SUSTAINABLE TRANSFORMATIVE TECHNOLOGIES"
This event will provide an excellent opportunity for the students to explore, enhance and exhibit their talent.

Last date for abstract Submission: 20-06-2019
Prelims Date: July 12-2019 at Jeppiaar Institute of Technology.

Participants : IEEE or Non IEEE (Both are allowed)/Engineering/Arts/ Polytechnic/Diploma Students/Current passed out final years/ Industrial candidates.



Prize amount: Prelims at JIT - Rs. 10,000 worth
Finals at Thailand- prize amount worth -$1000.

All participated teams will get participation certificate.

Registration fee: Rs 1000 per team.
