Traditionally an activity limited to pen and paper, the expansion of technology has enabled journaling to go digital. Journaling is one of the most useful personal development tools around. This workshop focuses to employ modern tools for writing journal, article and conference papers. This workshop covers hands on exercise on Microsoft Equation Editor, Microsoft Visio, LaTeX, Plagiarism checking etc.,
Microsoft Equation Editor is most desirable tool for writing scientific equations and formulae. Microsoft Visio has enormous features for drafting diagrams like electrical diagrams, block diagrams, 3D diagrams, flow charts, charts and maps. LaTeX is a document preparation system. It is widely used in academia for the communication and publication of research documents in journals, conferences and thesis writing. This workshop also covers the needs of modern tools for spell check, grammar check and plagiarism check. This program will motivate the participants to engage with their research activities using modern tools.
