This conference will go a long way in enriching the knowledge and inspiring the young minds to develop interest in molecular research for diagnostics in personalized medicine Molecular diagnostic tests detect specific sequences of DNA or RNA that may be associated with disease, including single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP), deletions, rearrangements, insertions and others. Clinical applications can be found in six general areas: infectious diseases; oncology, pharmacogenomics, genetic disease screening, human leukocyte antigen typing and coagulation derangement.
