Aarogyadesh 2k18:
An extraordinary meet of young minds together at one spot in order to cultivate the provincial practice of upgrading health and humanity. Health is Wealth-such a wealthy gathering paves way to enlighten the down-trodden, make the unknown known and to gain values to build a strong and healthy nation. The main goals of various events conducted during the grand meet is to create awareness, to enhance thoughts and to ignite the minds to serve the society which results in serving the country.

SHORT FILM DISPLAY
Farmers play a vital role in contributing to our healthy life. The traditional and organic food items were the key essence of the healthy lifestyle of our parents and grand parents. But unfortunately the heros behind our healthy life are not celebrated and thanked for their efforts and sweat. And here we provide you an excellent opportunity to make those real heros enact in your own script and direction.

Theme:
1.The efforts behind Agriculture
2. Threads created by junk foods
3. Healthy adoptions for healthy life.

Rules:
* This is a short film competition and hence ONLY Short Films should be submitted NO DOCUMENTARIES.
* DURATION: The films shall not be more than 3 (Three) minutes, including the beginning and end credits. Films exceeding this time limit are liable to be rejected. The minimum length should be 30 seconds including credits.
* Do not humiliate anybody/anything
* Do not repeat or copy contents
* Do not use abusive language
* The decision of the jury shall be final, unquestionable and binding on all participants

3.15 p.m TO 4.15 p.m
Zinomania:(collage making)
Do you see the world around you through a unique eye? Do you think the world around you can be described in a collage? If yes, then here is a competition for you. The focus of this event is on experimenting imaginatively with collage to both help generate ideas and to also produce some 'complete' works of art. A variety of collage techniques helps to enhance exploratory mind and imaginations. This event is suitable for anyone with an interest in art and in exploring new ways of generating ideas.

Rules:
o Team shall consist of two members.
o Theme for collage shall be given on the spot.
o Team must submit a one page write up on the theme of their collage, neatly written in A4 size paper, along with names of all participants and Institute.
o No mobile or Internet means would be allowed to use at the time of Competition.
o Only chart papers will be provided from Institute, All other material must be brought by the participants. Paper, Magazines, Glue, Scissor, Sketch Pen/colours etc. to be brought by participants.
o Team may disqualify on exceeding time or deviating from the theme or unsatisfactory explanation to jury.
o Judge’s decision shall be final and abiding

YOUTH PARLIAMENT
With a view to strengthen the roots of democracy, inculcate healthy habits of discipline, and to enable the student community to understand the working of our Parliament, the Ministry of Parliament. The Youth Parliament debate, is an excellent session on the topic “Indian Budget “.The aspirants of each team has to express their opinions on the pros and cons. Rules will be intimated during the commencement the event.

Selfie contest
Friends, stop posting your clicks in Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp,etc for a while. Spend some time to post your selfies into our page depicting your day with Agricultural fields, a course of traditional food in your home. And the best picture posted in the page will be presented prizes.

1.Traditional food recipes of India
2.Agricultural fields and farmers

Rules:
+ The selfie which are posted in the Yrc fb page must include
+ #yrcbit and # aaroghyadesh-2k18
+ Any incomplete entries shall be disqualified automatically.
+ Prizes will be given for the Best click Selfies (group) and for the “selfies which gets more likes” (group)
+ The decision of the jury shall be final, unquestionable and binding on all participants.

12 p.m to 1 p.m
Lapidarian:(Fruits and vegetable carving)
The purpose of fruit and vegetable carving is to make food more attractive, more appetizing, and also easier to eat. The main motto of this contest is to create awareness on food waste. Participants can create any innovatives of their choice.

Rules:
A team of 2 members are restricted for this event.
Participants must bring their own fruits of choice (not more than two).
# All other material must be brought by the participants.
#No mobile or Internet means would be allowed to use at the time of Competition.
# Participants should explain their theme to the juries.
# Team may disqualify on exceeding time or deviating from the theme or unsatisfactory explanation to jury.
# Judge’s decision shall be final and abiding.

2.45 p.m to 3.45 p.m
Innotainment
Innotainment is an extravagant program conducted for the invisible talents to showcase their innovative concepts. It paves way for the participants to project and entertain the gathering with an excellent message masked in it. The concepts may be projected in the form of Mime, Skit, Dance(Karaoke permitted and no Cine songs),etc

Disaster is serious disruption of functioning of a community or a society involving widespread human, material, economic or environmental losses and impacts, which exceeds the ability of the affected community or society, to cope using its own resources. As “LIVE AND LET LIVE” is the motto of our YRC, Here we have got you all a productive workshop on Disaster management from Mr.Vairavarajan.
