About Event

We, the Students of BIT, would like to invite you all, to the first ever TEDx event organized at Bannari Amman Institute of Technology by TEDxBITSathy Community. When we met, we realized that all of us shared a mutual interest in being divergent which demands for the stereotypes to be broken. This led us to decide our theme “BREAKING THE STEREOTYPE”. So, at our tedx event, we are inviting speakers who have broken their stereotypes to inspire people who wish to break the stereotype.

This year’s conference will feature an inspiring roster of speakers and performers.

TEDxBITSathy is BIT, Sathy’s TEDx event, a platform for exceptional ideas, and a catalyst for profound change.

Mr Gaurav Siddharth
A 23 year old travel enthusiast and a cyclist who has cycled from Kashmir to Kanyakumari in 42 daysand also has a Guinness world record for biking across all the Indian states and UT’s.
Dr Ashokan
Founder of Hithendran Memorial Trust, Chennai. He has completed his studies in Chengalpattu Medical College. He himself initiated and conducted 110 organ donation camps and created awareness about organ donation in and around Tamilnadu and still continuing.
Mr Annadurai
He is an auto driver who owns a share auto in Chennai, His share auto is stocked with the latest magazines, books, newspapers, a live TV and even a Wi-Fi connection, he is more pleasing in his principle pertaining to customer satisfaction rather than looking onto profit. He has also given motivational talks to many private concerns.
Mr Vamsi Krishna
He is a Mathematics teacher and an educationalist with a teaching experience across the globe in countries like USA and JAPAN and will be visiting more countries in future. He has a perspective view on education and bringing advancements in Indian education system.
Rickshawaali
She does Girl centric comedy in her YouTube channel. She spreads awareness about Women issues and make foreigners eat “Hajimola”.
