SPIKES

With technology evolving every second and making our lives easier to manage and exchange information, I proudly announce SPIKES 16, a national level technical symposium hosted by Dept. of Instrument Technology, AUCE (A) conducted biennially. The Symposium aims to provide a platform for budding engineers to create an aura of healthy competitive arena to share their innovative ideas, acquire knowledge on various technical aspects to be on par with growing technology.

To enhance the academic environment by bringing in the issues of leadership and organizing, SPIKES fest is completely organized by the students and hence promoting the ideas of upcoming engineers.

Walking down the memory lane, SPIKES has a remarkable history of 12 years. According to the records SPIKES 12 witnessed 800 students from various colleges across Andhra Pradesh, receiving 250 papers on various topics including MEMS and NEMS, SENSTRONIC BREAKING CONTROL SYSTEMS AND NANO TECHNOLOGY.

In SPIKES 14, we took a step forward and initiated robotics workshop, wherein 120 members attended. Various articles from research scholars have been encouraged from different colleges, on topics like GREEN POWER, NEUROROBOTICS, SUPERCAPACITORS, FUZZY LOGIC.

Data from SPKIES 14 says that 550 papers have been received along with active participation of students from various colleges in poster presentation, ROBOTIC WORKSHOP and INNOVATIONS.

Spikes-A national level technical student symposium is being organized by the department of Instrument technology, Andhra university college of engineering (Autonomous) and successfully completed a decade and involved a good number of people from not only various parts of INDIA but also from various parts of world.

1.Dinner will be provided to all participants who opt for accommodation.
2. Participants carrying their laptops or similar electronic gadgets will have to take care of their belongings and team SPIKES will not be held responsible.
3. At the time of check-out the participants are required to return all the commodities provided to them by the organizers.
4. Random checks would be made to avoid any illegal stay at the campus. Any team failing to produce their receipts of accommodation would be fined and disqualified.
5. All participants must carry their valid college photo ID card. People without valid photo identity card will not be allowed inside the campus during SPIKES 16.
6. Alcohol, narcotics, sharp objects and explosives of any kind are strictly prohibited inside the campus. Any other item if deemed unsafe will be prohibited. The decision of Security and SPIKES team will be final in case of any disputes.
7. SPIKES 16 and ANDHRA UNIVERSITY will not be responsible for any mishaps that occur throughout the stay.
8. Accommodation will be done on ‘first come-first served’ basis.
