About Event

Competition format: Solo event

Participants are assigned a character, object, situation or technical topic on the spot.
Scenarios may involve limited-resource situations.
Participants must persuade the judge why their entry should be chosen.
Must demonstrate persuasion, spontaneity, creativity and reasoning.
Each participant gets 1 minute per turn.
Speaking is done alternately.
Topics may include general, imaginary, technical and political themes.
Judging: Spontaneity, Humour, Creativity, Fluency, Reasoning & Persuasion.
Vulgar, offensive or inappropriate conduct → immediate disqualification.
Judges' decision is final and binding.
