About Event

The Faculty Development Programme on “Sustainable and Green Manufacturing Practices for Future Mechanical Engineers” aims to provide participants with comprehensive knowledge of emerging sustainable technologies and environmentally responsible manufacturing practices. The programme focuses on integrating green engineering principles with modern manufacturing systems to minimize environmental impact while improving productivity and efficiency.
This FDP will cover key areas such as energy-efficient manufacturing processes, eco-friendly materials, waste minimization techniques, and circular economy concepts. It also emphasizes the role of advanced technologies, including digital manufacturing and smart systems, in achieving sustainability goals in the mechanical engineering domain.
Through expert sessions, case studies, and practical insights, the programme is designed to equip faculty members with the necessary knowledge and skills to incorporate sustainable practices into teaching, research, and industrial applications.
