About Event

The SELECT Makeathon is a flagship 36-hour intensive innovation challenge organized by the School of Electrical and Engineering (SELECT) at VIT Vellore. The event brings together students, researchers, and professionals to develop functional prototypes—spanning both hardware and software—to address real-world industry problem statements. Participants benefit from expert mentorship, technical guidance, and the opportunity to showcase their solutions to a panel of over 30 industrial judges.
