Rules and regulation
1.paper vista - Participation is allowed individually or in teams of up to 2 members. Papers must be original. Each team will be given 10 minutes for presentation, followed by a Q&A session. Use of mobile phones or external assistance during presentation is not allowed.
2. Digital poster presentation- Participation can be individual or in teams of up to 2 members. Posters must be in digital format (PPT, PDF, or JPEG). All content must be original. Plagiarism or copied material will result in disqualification. Each team will be given 5 minutes to present their poster. Participants must be prepared to explain and defend their poster during the evaluation. Posters must be clear, readable, and suitable for digital display.
3. Science quiz- Each team should consist of 2 participants. The quiz will have multiple rounds as decided by the organizers. Questions will be based on general knowledge, current affairs. Use of mobile phones, smart watches, or any electronic gadgets is strictly prohibited. Teams must answer within the given time limit.
4. Science Project expo- Two members are allowed in a team. Each team/participant must present one science project. Projects must be working models or well-explained theoretical models related to science, technology, engineering, or mathematics. Participants will be given 5 minutes to explain and demonstrate their project. Use of mobile phones, smart devices, or external assistance during presentation is strictly prohibited.
5. Scilens- Individual Event Participant must submit original photographs related to the theme, ‘Trusting Science, Transforming Lives’. Each photograph must be captured by the participant(s). Downloaded, edited stock images, or AI-generated images are strictly prohibited
6. Code quest- Participation is allowed individually or in teams of up to 5 members. Participants will be given one or more programming problems to solve. Each problem must be solved with in given time.
7. Brain Teaser- 2 members per team is allowed. Each question will have a time limits. Answers after the time limit will not be accepted. Only the first answer submitted will be considered final.
8. Sketches- Participants must bring their own drawing materials (A3 size white chart, pencils, colors, brushes, etc.). Time limit will be 60 minutes. The drawing must be done only inside the venue. Judging will be based on creativity, neatness, color usage, and relevance to the theme, ‘Science for a Safer Tomorrow’.
9. No fire- master chef- use of fire Gas stove, induction, oven, microwave, or heater is strictly prohibited. Participants must complete the recipe within the given time (30 minutes).
10. Arts on Hands- Participants must bring their own mehnadi cones and materials. The design must be drawn on hand (no artificial sheets). Time limit will be 30–45 minutes. One participant per design is allowed.
11. Trash to treasure- Participants must create an item using waste or discarded materials only. The final product should be useful, decorative, or innovative. Waste materials such as newspapers, plastic bottles, cardboard, old CDs, fabric scraps, cans, etc must be used.
