Python for Machine Learning - Agenda
1. Introduction & Motivation
Why Python is the most popular language for ML.
Overview of today’s roadmap.
2. Python Refresher – ML Context
Variables, data types (int, float, string, list, tuple, dict).
Loops & conditionals.
Functions (with arguments & return values).
Importing libraries (import, from ... import).
3. NumPy – Numerical Computing
What is NumPy and why it’s used in ML.
Creating arrays (np.array, np.zeros, np.ones, np.arange, np.linspace).
Indexing, slicing, reshaping.
Array operations (sum, mean, dot product).
Broadcasting.

4. Pandas – Data Handling
What is a DataFrame and Series.
Reading CSV/Excel files (pd.read_csv).
Inspecting data (.head(), .info(), .describe()).
Selecting rows & columns (loc, iloc).
Filtering and conditional selection.
Adding, renaming, dropping columns.
Handling missing data (fillna, dropna).
5. Pandas – Data Aggregation & Grouping
Grouping (groupby) and aggregation (sum, mean).
Sorting data.
Merging & joining datasets.
Exporting cleaned data to CSV.
6. Matplotlib – Basic Visualization
Line plots, bar charts, scatter plots, histograms.
