With rising concerns about global warming and dire
predictions of adverse climatic change, the search for
sustainable energy sources and smart manufacturing
processes becomes the need of the hour. It is with this aim
that the FDP has been arranged, to bring knowledge of
front-edge technologies to the teaching community so that
the avenues of research are broadened and scientific
progress can continue to be of use to help prevent a
dystopian world. The speakers have been carefully
identified so that knowledge of their research will further
spur research in the much-needed areas of sustainable
energy and modern manufacturing.
