TECHNICAL EVENTS:

DEBUGGING: Test your problem-solving skills, by identifying and fixing errors in the program.

• Each participant is provided with a set of C or JAVA questions based on their preferences.
• The question set includes a total of 5 questions (2 easy, 2 medium, and 1 difficult level question).
• The participants will be given 45 minutes to complete the challenge.

Timing: 12:00 PM
Venue: CSE Lab 1 and 2


PROJECT FAIR: Join us to showcase your innovative and groundbreaking projects!

• The project should be related to the software domain.
• The team should consist of a minimum of 1 and a maximum of 3 members.
• The time limit for the project demo video is up to 3 minutes.
• Each team should pitch their project within 5 to 10 minutes.

Timing: 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM
Venue: L Block, Room No. 311


PAPER PRESENTATION: Step into the spotlight and share your revolutionary ideas and research findings with confidence.

• Choose any one topic for Paper Presentation.
• Team should consist of a minimum of 1 and a maximum of 3 members.
• Each team should present their topic within 5 to 7 minutes.

Timing: 11:30 am to 1:30 pm
Venue: Library Block, Conference Hall

NON-TECHNICAL EVENTS:

CONNEXION: Join the laughter and thrill of Connextion, where creativity thrives and fun knows no bounds!

Round 1: Screening Round

• Teams with a maximum of three members.
• Papers with song numbers are in a bowl.
• Teams pick a paper and listen to the corresponding song.
• Teams guess the song; if incorrect, the next team tries.
• Shortlisted teams move to the next round.

Round 2: Guess the Movie Name & Song

• Slides depict song lyrics through images.
• Include movie-related elements.
• Teams decipher the movie title from the visuals.

Timing: 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM
Venue: Library Block, Conference Hall


TREASURE HUNT: Uncover the excitement in our thrilling Treasure Hunt, where teams race to decode clues and claim victory!

• Teams should consist of a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 4 members.
• Elimination Rounds: One-minute games, e.g., say 10 country names within 60 seconds and Tongue Twister.
• From those teams, five teams are selected and qualify for the Riddle Round.
• For the Riddle Round, there are 10 hints hidden within the college campus.
• The first team to reach the destination will be rewarded.

Timing: 2:00 PM
Venue: L Block, EG Hall


VIDEO EDITING: Dive into creativity and craft cinematic wonders in Video Editing: where your imagination sets the scene!

• Participants must select a theme from those mentioned below.
• The time duration of the video should be within 3 minutes.
• Participants should avoid plagiarism.
• Participants must submit their entries on or before 17/04/2024 by 12:00 pm.
• Participants must submit their video on Google Drive with public access, and the date and time of the video should be mentioned.


NANO PHOTOGRAPHY: Get up close and personal with nature's breathtaking details!

Topic: Nature - Capturing nature in a nano form.

• Participants can use DSLR/Mobile Phones (use the highest possible resolutions).
• Filters and editing are not allowed.
• Participants should avoid plagiarism.
• Entries must be submitted on or before 17/04/2024 by 12:00 pm.
• Participants must submit the photograph in image format on Google Drive with public access, and the date & time of photography should be mentioned.
• Each photograph should be submitted only once with an appropriate description.


INSTAR: Capture life's magic and seize the spotlight!

Instar is a social media-based photography contest hosted on Instagram. Participants are invited to submit their own original photographs along with a suitable caption. These submissions will be posted on the official Instagram account @cognoconnect. Participants are encouraged to share their posts from @cognoconnect and gather likes from other Instagram users. The entry with the most likes will be declared the winner of the event.

Topic: Seize the moment
Capture unique moments that you come across in your life.
E.g., a father cuddling his daughter, a mother bird feeding its babies, an elderly struggling to walk, etc.

• Participants can capture their photos using either their mobile phones or cameras.
• Video submissions are not permitted; only photographs are accepted.
• Originality is important, and participants must avoid plagiarism.
• Each participant can submit only one entry.
• All entries must be submitted on or before 16/04/2024 by 10 AM.
• Participants are allowed to share their posts and gather likes from 16/04/2024 by 12 PM to 17/04/2024 by 12 PM.
