About Event

Every year North India witnesses one of the most awaited collegiate cultural fiestas in the country - Antaragni, the cultural festival of IIT Kanpur. Antaragni (est. 1965) is organized by a team of students of the institute. Running a legacy of 57 years, it has expanded and evolved into one of the largest cultural extravaganzas in India. Antaragni marks an eruption of cultural flair and creative exuberance that is the hallmark of our national diversity in general, thus defining the purpose it seeks to fulfill. Antaragni witnesses the participation of students from over 350 top colleges of the country. Students from a plethora of fields - humanities, engineering, science, commerce, economics, law, and medicine participate in the events with great gusto and zeal. The fest experienced over 1.4 L footfall and over 30 M eyeballs. We've had performances from greats like Sunidhi Chauhan, Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy, Vishal-Shekhar, Amit Trivedi, KSHMR, Quintino, Guthrie Govan, and many more.
