 The subject Robotics is always a source of interest and admiration, The focus of this STTP is in robot that is used to work on industrial environment as a substitute to man on certain manufacturing tasks, being a mechatronic co work-er for humans.
 Industrial robots are good examples of FMS. It means taking special care of Human Machine Interface (HMS) that enable human & machine to co-operate on shop floor as co-workers, taking advantage of each others capabilities.
 STTP is aimed to impart the basic knowledge on design, programming, concepts, applications and future of industrial robots.
 The Programme is also intended to throw light on kinematics and dynamics required for modelling and simu-lation of robots for researchers.
