About Event

COEP FOSSMeet is an annual symposium organized by the Department of Computer and IT of College of Engineering, Pune (COEP).This year, in its second edition, the event attempts to bring together FOSS developers, academicians, researchers, students and all those who love the FOSS movement under one roof and has the vision to promote the culture of openness, innovation, and freedom through hands-on sessions, discussions, and lectures. Last year, the event hosted 20 talks/workshops by some of the most eminent FOSS programmers/developers on a range of topics including: Python, Git, Ruby etc. Some of the speakers who delivered sessions in the FOSSMeet include Pirate Praveen, Ankit Gadgil, Gaurav Pant, Kushal Das to name a few.
COEP FOSSMeet is a great opportunity for all the FOSS enthusiasts and curious students out there to enhance and deepen FOSS knowledge and get acquainted with technological trends in the field of information technology.
