Electronic Design Automation (EDA) is at the center of technology advances in improving human life and use every day. EDA automates the design and test processes of verifying the correctness of the electronic system level design against the specifications of the electronic system and ensure that it meets the specifications and quality requirements of the electronic system.

OrCAD is a proprietary software tool suite used primarily for Electronic Design Automation. The software is used mainly to create electronic prints for manufacturing of printed circuit boards, by electronic design engineers and electronic technicians to manufacture electronic schematic Layout Plus is a circuit board layout tool that accepts a layout-compatible circuit netlist (ex. from Capture CIS) and generates an output layout files that is suitable for PCB fabrication
