About Event

Cognizance, the annual technical festival of IIT Roorkee, is an agglomeration of over 200 events which encompass every wavelength of an entire technical spectrum. Commenced in 2003, cognizance has emerged as the one of the largest festival of its kind in the Indian subcontinent and many of its core events witness a participation numbering in thousands.

It is an enthralling kaleidoscope of intellectually invigorating events like Robosapiens, Model United Nations, Power Drift, Armageddon, Blogomania, Chaos, Illushun, Quizzotica, workshops, guest lectures and many more; which are designed to fuel innovation and stimulation and test rigorously the participating students.

We have an outreach of over 2,000 colleges across India and many colleges overseas.

The dates for this edition of Cognizance have been decided as 23-25th March 2018.
