About Event

Delhi Technological University occupies a premier position in the matrix of engineering colleges and universities in the country. In its bid to nurture the innovative and creative abilities and foster an entrepreneurial spirit among students from all over the country, the Department of Biotechnology organizes their annual technical festival KARYON.

This year KARYON is being organized from 10th-12th February, 2017.

KARYON 2017 is ready to become the grandest of all till date with the addition of mind-boggling competitions. The excitement of KARYON 2017 will be worth watching thus, we invite you to the brightest of technical fests, KARYON

Events

EVENTS:

1. INTERNSHIP FAIR: An opportunity for students to procure internship and build their profiles with budding and established companies.

2. INSPIRE-LECTURE SERIES: A guest lecture, where some of the prominent scientists from various sections of biotechnology come together to encourage young researchers.

3. MOOT-THE DEBATING EVENT: A debating event where participants will debate on hot topics of today.

4. THE DNA SHOW: A unique experience for everyone where participants will be able to visualize DNA from strawberries in a few minutes with the help of certain chemicals.

5. RANG-DE-KAMEEZ-T-SHIRT PAINTING COMPETITION: A designing event where participants have to exhibit their designer streak.

6. TERRIBLY TINY TALES: A creative writing competition with two rounds - Online and Offline. Participants would be encouraged to write on interesting topics in a given time limit.

7. HOW HEALTHY ARE YOU?-HEALTH AWARENESS CAMP: Participants would be encouraged to adopt a healthy lifestyle with free health tests like blood sugar, blood pressure, hemoglobin and BMI
