About Event

Estuary is the prestigious flagship event of SCHOOL OF MARITIME MANAGEMENT,INDIA MARITIME UNIVERSITY an annual event usually spread over two days comprising of a national level seminar by industry experts/papers presentation on Day-1 followed by a scintillating intercollegiate meet on day-2.
Being the only central university in maritime sector, the central theme of the fest focuses on logistics, port & shipping and infrastructure area. Estuary hosts myriad events which serves as a highly interactive forum for the young managers. Several experts from the industry and dignitaries from the field of shipping, logistics and infrastructure usually grace the occasion.
Estuary 2k13 was the first edition of this national level management fest organised by the school of maritime management (SMM) at Chennai campus which was a huge success and IMU continued with Estuary2k14 and Estuary2k15 which received participants from all over India . It has now became a legacy event for the forthcoming SMMians to host and continue every year. Young budding managers learn organizing and interactive skills with an ample measure of fun element thrown in
