About the College
Methodist College of Engineering & Technology is a non-minority educational institution, established in the year 2008, over 6.53 acre sprawling campus, situated at Abids, in the heat of the city of pearls, Hyderabad MCET is affiliated to Osmania University at state level and with AICTE in the central level.
About the Department of Mechanical Engineering
The Department is established in 2009 with an in-take of 60 students in B.E., currently the department is offering both U.G. & P.G. (with B.E. intake of 120 students & P.G. with an intake of 18 students in CAD/CAM stream). The exceptional teaching and infrastructure have paved way for many students to perform extraordinarily in the academics. We also offer various certificate courses, conducted in collaboration with class leading companies. The department is associated with professional bodies such as Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) & Indian Society for Technical Education, and organizes various activities in association with them.
The department organizes various student level technical events regularly which include workshops, guest lecture, industrial visits and technical seminars to expose the student’s inherent talent and skills.
