'Untitled' - Make Your Own Story


For the first time in its history, Govt. Model Engineering College, Kochi, will serve as a platform to facilitate interaction between startups. Conducted as a part of EXCEL, the annual national-level techno managerial symposium of the college, this event is essentially a 3 way, interactive discussion between people with ideas, people with capital and people with curiosity.


Presenting ‘Untitled’, a one of a kind venture by Excel 2015. With the inherent message of ‘Make your own story’, it’s for those wishing to engrave their own story in stone and paint their canvas of success. We delve into the less uncharted territory of the entrepreneurial world, on a quest for knowledge and inspiration. Successful tycoons and ambitious startups, share their secrets of the trade and the story of how they braved the storm under the gruesome and unforgiving weather that is the world of entrepreneurship. Tune in as we bring to you the chance to interact with and learn from the best as they help you realize and title your own voyage.

Events

Event Format

The first session will showcase the stories of five shortlisted startups who have carved out a niche for themselves. Listen as they narrate the stories of how they first walked on the streets of the entrepreneurial world, their sources of inspiration, their failures, the decisions that changed their journey and so on.

This will be followed by an enlightening session where established entrepreneurs and specially invited guests share their success with the audience.

The event will conclude with a networking session where students and investors among the crowd, interact with startups on potential venture providing valuable exposure to the startup community. Investors get the advantage of being associated with the potential trend setter of the future and the startups gain mentorship, guidance and capital. Furthermore, the participation of students will allow them to gain valuable exposure to the startup community.
