This FDP is being organized to enhance awareness of Knowledge Engineering adopted with Soft Computing Techniques for Science and Engineering Applications. Knowledge engineering (KE) deals with knowledge acquisition, representation, validation, inferencing, explanation, and maintenance, has made significant progress recently, owing to the indefatigable efforts of researchers. The hot topics of data mining, knowledge/data discovery and Big-Data analytics have injected new life into the classical AI world. These techniques are comprehensively used in various Science & engineering applications. The FDP is aimed at educating participants about the fundamentals of these techniques and at the same time extends to expose them to the recent advancement in this area. The FDP will help mentors to further deliver its contents to their students and will endow budding researchers with state of art tools to improvise their research. We request you to give a wide publicity among your faculty members, research scholars and encourage them to attend the FDP.
