Coming up with a viable business plan that you can present to potential investors and use to build your business can prove to be a much more daunting task. If you enter a business plan competition, you may be provided access to workshops and other resources to get you started on the business planning process. Great ideas result into great undertakings which pave the way for glaring success. It is easier said than done because the process of realising an idea needs a deep understanding of the world around, and an innate preparedness to cope with failures - an inevitable part of enterprising. In order to facilitate this vision of promoting entrepreneurship in India and the world, E-Cell DTU is organising BluePrints ,a national business plan competition. BluePrints provides a platform for potential ideas and early stage start-ups to evaluate their plan in the risk-free environment of a competition. It aims to bridge the gap between ideas and the realisation of an enterprise. Writing a business plan is an essential activity for startups and people looking to startup because it helps them analyze their own business from various angles, organize it, seek funding and hire new people. We recognize this need and have structured the competition to suit to the educational needs of the participants. BluePrints is an initiative taken with a vision to foster innovative technology and business models aiming to add value to the people at the bottom of the pyramid and/or help build a greener tomorrow. The B-Plan Competition is aimed at encouraging students to unleash their inventive potential and flesh out ideas spanning multiple dimensions. It is designed to emulate the process of the growth of an idea towards a full-fledged startup. Right from acknowledging that your idea has potential, to writing a B-Plan, and pitching in front of an investor- this platform has it all. It now serves not only as a launch pad for budding ideas, but now has moved to be recognised as a platform for intensive learning of the entrepreneurial ecosystem by interactions and mentorship from the leaders of this field. The BluePrints Business Plan Competition is a comprehensive platform that helps student entrepreneurs and their teams develop and launch their businesses, and provide a network for brainstorming, feedback, and future business opportunities.
