Greetings from the CET family- comprising more than 3800 students, 400 plus faculties and over 300 other employees! This 75 Year old, state run institution is still the most sought after engineering institution in the state. The year-long Platinum Jubilee celebrations of the college was inaugurated on 18th July of 2014 by the Honorable President of India, Shri. Pranab Kumar Mukherjee. The biggest event in the can, is a Technical Exhibition cum Open House- titled CETEX 2015. This is the 5th edition of CETEX and the previous editions were also held during such special occasions, which highlights the importance of this event in the jubilee year. CETEX is rated as the best of its kind in Kerala and the last time it drew more than 40,000 curious spectators from different walks of life to its pavilions. CETEX 2015 will be the BIGGEST event yet and more than 80,000 people- laymen to technocrats, celebrities and experts, are expected to enjoy this festival of technology and innovation! The event is packed under 11 titles viz: Open House, Auto Expo, Energy Fair, Communication Fair, IT Fair, Build Fair, Agro- Horti Tech Fair, Science and Technology Fair, Home Appliance Fair, Book Fair and Student Counseling Center.
