About Event

Dex-tech is one of a kind event that is inspired from our favorite cartoon series "Dexter's Laboratory". As we all know Dexter is a boy-genius with a secret laboratory filled with his inventions, we secretly wish to be like him, don't we. But to be like him, we have to innovate and invent. There is always going to be a "Dee Dee" like character who/ which will always interrupt us from achieving our goals but just like Dexter we should always try again. There will be elements like "Mandark" who/ which will always try to destroying your accomplishments but you need to work through it with more will power. This event is designed to ignite a felling of "yes I can". This two days event is aimed at helping students to first innovate and then invent. Therefore 1st day is all about research. It will make you aware about the procedure about researching with hands on specialization-specific application and their usage for research purpose. The selected applications are Auto- CAD, MATLAB, PLC Scada and JAVA. A Project Competition is planned for 2nd day which will have two sessions. Session 1 is Preliminary Round which include Idea Presentation in team of two. Maximum time limit allotted to each team is 10 minutes. Session 2 is Final Round in which short-listed participants from respected categories will showcase their prototype along with a synopsis.
