About Event

The inception of Tangelo Town was done by some final year students of Faculty of Engineering & Technology, Jamia Millia Islamia in the year 2013, The aim was to deliver a festival to the students, where they get a amalgam of Cultural Festivals, Technical Festivals, Sports Festivals and International Events. With this aim the festival was born, Tangelo Town. Tangelo meaning "a hybrid fruit" relates with our concept of delivering a one of its kind festival, a HYBRID Festival. The legacy is being carried forward this year too by the same body, Students' Council - Faculty of Engineering, Jamia Millia Islamia, which delivered TANGELO TOWN 2013. One of its kind festival, Tangelo Town, with domain ranging from cultural to technical and sports to art, remains one of the largest fest of National Capital Region and of Jamia Millia Islamia University. Breaking many barriers itself in its debut in 2013 the festival left an impressionable remark by introducing big events such as Model United Nations, International Conference on Sustainable Technologies, Tangelo Sports League, International Exhibitions. The festival received a huge response from participants nationwide. TANGELO TOWN'14 is back, promising you to give the best experience again. Come and Enjoy the Hybrid Weekender.
