Set in the midst of a jungle of Anna University, Department of Mining Engineering has always stood apart from the crowd. Surang, CEG Miner's Technical extravaganza has always made heads turn ever since its inception more than 10 years ago. Held during late February every year. Surang is characterised with the days jam-packed with events and competitions, which present one with an opportunity to showcase their talent in front of vast crowds. Be it with events like Papyrus, Management Psyche, Labyrinth Quest, Robotron, and many more has the crowd asking for more. Cherishing the support of a bevy of sponsors throughout previous years, Surang has always managed to strike a chord with the people who flock to see it all happen. And it's time for another Surang.
