Dhanak 2013 is open to all Indian undergraduate students with a valid college ID card. Most events do not have a registration fee. IIST Model United Nations, now in its second edition, featuring the UN General Assembly with agendas on political asylum and Millennium Development Goals, invites seasoned MUNers and debaters from all over the country. This time, keeping with our theme of Fantasia, The Ministry of Magic set in the post Wizarding War era of J K Rowlings Harry Potter universe is all set to make its debut in this edition of IIST MUN under the Ministership of Kingsley Shacklebolt. Potterheads, old and new, are welcome. Our flagship event Battle of the Bands, now in its fifth edition, featuring competing bands from all over India holds a special place in the heart of many bands as the starting point of their careers. Come join the list and win a chance to open for Cold Night for Alligators. Our events include Awaaz, the Solo Singing Event, with English, Hindi and Malayalam, and the Mime, Admaking and Group and Solo Dancing Competitions, with massive cash prizes. Also featured in Dhanak 2013 is its Quizzing Arena with the General Quiz, M.E.L.A. Quiz, Travel and Business Quiz and Sports Quiz. Literary Events include JAM and the Titan Deliberation, our celebrated debate event. Our Arts Section with Painting and Sketching Events and our newest addition, the Wall-to-Wall, our Graffiti Showdown. Also included are our online filmmaking event Reel Under Light and general photography event Flipix which are underway on our social media pages.
