About Event
E-Summit IITR is conducted with the vision of bringing in the entrepreneurial mindset in the posterity. We incorporate students, professionals, and startups from across the country and provide them an exposure comprehensive enough to make them aware of the opportunities available to them to venture out in the world of entrepreneurship. Steering our way through exciting competitions, intellectual panel discussions, knowledgeable sessions, networking arenas and all the more that is required to light up the spirit of entrepreneurship, we strive to create a conducive environment for the development of a startup hub in Uttarakhand.
Events
Investor's Vista:
Investors' Vista is E-Summit IIT Roorkee's newest center-stage event wherein participants are supposed to create an investment pitch for a startup chosen from a deck already provided. The aim of Investor's Vista is to make people aware of how an investor thinks before making an investment decision.
The event would comprise of 2 rounds. The 1st round would be a screening round wherein teams are required to submit a PPT as an investment deck of the chosen startup from the deck. The shortlisted teams would come to E-Summit'20 for the final round. In the final round, teams would be given a different startup and are expected to make a PPT and investment pitch in front of the judges.
1st Round:
A deck of 4 startups is attached with the registration form, from which participants can choose a startup to prepare a PPT.
The PPT is an investment pitch which has to be in a particular format.
The format of PPT will be mailed to the participating teams post registration.
The last date for submission is 10th january 2020. The shortlisted teams will be notified via mail/call.
2nd Round:
The second round of the event would be organised in the E-Summit on 2nd of Feb at IIT Roorkee campus.
The selected teams would be invited to E-Summit IIT Roorkee.
For the final round, 2 startups would be provided, out of which an investment deck of any 1 is to be made in the form of PPT and is to be pitched in front of a board of investors (the judges).
Rules and Regulations:
1. Register in teams of 3-5.
2. The team should remain the same at all stages of the competition.
3. Adhere to the format of the PPT provided beforehand.
