Radiance… An Enlightenment... An Awakening… A Beginning..
Radiance is the Annual Research & Technological Festival of Mechanical Engineering Department, IIT Bombay , organized by Mechanical Engineering Association . Conceptualized in 2007, Radiance over the years has proved its mettle by bridging the gap between an academician’s theoretical knowledge and an industry professional’s solutions to real life technical problems. Its wide array of events is designed to appeal to the curiosity and participation of mechanical engineering related people from all strata of the professional world. Be it mechanical engineering students from across the country, famous scientists, young techno-entrepreneurs exhibiting their machinery, or corporate giants,Radiance’10 has something in store for everyone.

- Vaigyaniki -- A National Level Research Paper Presentation Event
- Industry Defined Problems – the name says it all, Provide innovative solutions to engineering challenges faced and put forward by industry
- Workshops – An arsenal of exquisite workshops in the state-of-the-art and need-of-the-hour technologies, equipping you with tools to prepare for a technically sound future
- Online Events – An array of pre-fest online events for the computer geeks
- Exhibitions : Various cutting edge technologies from the industry as well as select student projects are showcased every year
- Research @ ME: Get a Sneak Peek into what goes on in those haunted research labs @ IIT Bombay. A startling exhibition of the research projects conducted by professors of the Mechanical dept, IITB. Over 40 projects were exhibited last year
- Lecture Series: Host of lectures by achievers and iconic individuals on the latest developments in the field of Mechanical Engineering straight from the horse's mouth
- On-The-Spot Competitions: Various On the Spot Competitions and Trivia quizzes designed to test your wit, skill and knowledge and a great opportunity to win loads of prizes
