Experience the purging of your apathy as we fill your veins with the desire to transform all around you. Be the herald, as you lead this aimless horde to a higher mode of being…to social and cultural nirvana.
Coz Change begins with-in a solitary human - the smallest unit of society ; and that's what Disha-2010 is all about. Not Pete Seeger's 'little boxes' but fluid,dynamic individuals who all constitute a quantum of "i am the Change" Be there…bear witness to the awakening of the the lost generation. Come, awaken the fire within…Be the Change!!!

DRISHTANT, the biennial Inter-college Techno-Management Symposium of Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra is being held from 18th March-21st March 2010. ‘Drishtant’ meaning illustrations or examples, aims at spreading knowledge and skills through examples.
The fest comprises a rich collage of technical and non-technical events along with a series of guest lectures by luminaries in various fields of science and also by the heads of various famous organizations. Thus, Drishtant not only inculcates scientific spirit and awareness amongst budding engineers but also increases their interaction with the industry.
Drishtant has always been a landmark event and an endeavor, which we take pride in.

Details: CIENCIA is the annual technical festival of CVR College of Engineering, one of the leading engineering colleges in Andhra Pradesh. It is a three-day event that brings in thousands of students from all across the country. CIENCIA has a rich mix of technical as well as non-technical events (and not to mention some great prizes!), so there is always something for everyone.
What are the events we are conducting this year?
One of the major events we are conducting on both days of the festival is Paper Presentation for the branches CSE, IT, ECE, EEE and EIE. The C Programming Contest is an event open to all branches, while Fix 'n Win is conducted for students of the ECE and EEE branches. And then there's the Technical Quiz where you can test your might (your mental might anyway) against students from various engineering colleges all over the state!
And if the technical events are not your cup of tea, worry not, for there are a host of other events you can participate in. There's the Gaming Contest and the General Quiz , both of which have proven time and again to be huge crowd pullers. We also recommend you take some time out to visit the various stalls we've set up all over campus.
We the team at Ciencia prefer participants to an audience, so you're encouraged to participate in as many events as you can/want.
