AI Prompt Engineering + Document Q&A Assistant

Step into the world of Generative AI and learn how modern AI applications understand, process, and respond to information. This workshop introduces participants to Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), Prompt Engineering, and basic Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) through a practical application-building experience.

Participants will learn how applications communicate with LLMs, how prompts can be designed to produce better and more reliable responses, and how documents such as PDFs can be converted into useful information for AI systems.

The workshop will guide participants in building a simple AI-powered Document Q&A Assistant. Starting with a basic chat interface and starter code, participants will work on connecting document content with an LLM, designing effective prompts, and testing the application with questions based on the uploaded document.

By the end of the workshop, participants will gain a practical understanding of how Generative AI and LLMs are integrated into real-world applications, along with hands-on experience in Prompt Engineering, document-based AI, and the fundamentals of RAG.
