About Event

This hands-on workshop introduces participants to the practical application of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning for electrical power quality analysis using real-world data obtained from a Power Quality (PQ) meter. Instead of focusing primarily on theory, the workshop follows a practical learning approach in which participants work with actual electrical measurement data, perform data exploration and preprocessing, visualize power quality parameters, identify meaningful patterns, and develop basic machine learning models.

The workshop will provide participants with practical exposure to handling electrical datasets and applying AI/ML techniques for engineering applications. Participants will learn how data from parameters such as voltage, current, power, frequency, harmonics and power quality indices can be transformed into useful insights using Python and machine learning.

The sessions will follow a simple workflow: Data → Problem → Concept → Code → Result → Interpretation. Participants will progressively move from understanding the dataset to developing and interpreting machine learning-based solutions.
