The Department of Mechanical Engineering, Saranathan College of Engineering is pleased to invite students to participate in GEARSTORM’26, a technical fest featuring four engaging core engineering events designed to encourage innovation, technical knowledge, problem-solving, and practical skills.

*01 | MECH INNOVATE – Bridging the Academic Gap*

Eligibility: Exclusively for Mechanical Engineering students
* Team size: 2–4 participants
* Develop a working prototype/model based on an area of interest such as Production, Automobile, Mechatronics, etc.

*02 | NEXT GEN UPGRADE – Innovation Challenge*

Eligibility: Students from all departments
* Team size: 2–4 participants
* Upgrade an existing product/system with meaningful improvements and demonstrate it through a prototype.

*03 | BRAIN BOLT – Quiz Challenge*

Eligibility: Students from all departments
* Individual participation
* Multiple rounds covering Technical, Engineering, Aptitude and General Knowledge
* Electronic gadgets are not permitted

*04 | STRUCTURAL SHOWDOWN – Bridge Challenge*

Eligibility: Students from all departments
* Team size: 2–4 participants
* Construct a bridge using the materials provided within the specified rules and time
* The structure will be evaluated based on load-bearing capacity, stability and efficiency
