About Event

ROBOVISIONÄR '26 (also written RoboVisionar) is the national robotics and drone engineering championship hosted by the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology, Chennai.

Autonomous machines against the clock. Drones threading a gated circuit at full tilt. Bots trading torque inside a ring until one is left. Every entry is designed, built, wired and debugged by a student team, then judged on the floor in front of everyone. No simulations, no second attempts once the run begins.

Disciplines
1. Fastest LFR — Pure velocity. Sub-20-second laps on a competition-grade track. Entry ₹850 · Team 1–2 · Prize ₹30,000
2. Obstacle Robo Race — Ramps, rubble and chokepoints. Speed means nothing without control. Entry ₹900 · Team 1–4 · Prize ₹40,000
3. Drone Race Circuit (FPV) — First-person flight through a gated circuit. FPV only. Entry ₹1,500 · Team 1–3 · Prize ₹60,000
4. Bot Sumo 5KG — Five kilograms of torque. One ring. Push or be pushed. Entry ₹700 · Team 1–4 · Prize ₹20,000
5. Robo Soccer 1v1 — One bot, one striker, one goal. Entry ₹900 · Team 1–3 · Prize ₹50,000
Additional members beyond the included team size may be added at ₹250 each and receive e-certificates. Maximum squad size is 10 including the captain.

Eligibility
Open to students currently enrolled at any institution. Teams may include members from more than one institution. A valid student ID must be produced at the venue. Participants under 18 must have the consent of a parent, guardian or nominated mentor.

Choose your discipline, enter your team, pay the entry fee by UPI and submit the 12-digit UTR from your payment. You will receive a Reference ID immediately - keep it, it is your key for status tracking and event-day check-in. Slots per discipline are limited and a live waitlist operates once an event fills.

Good to know information:
Lunch and refreshments are provided to all registered participants. Accommodation is not provided - please arrange your own stay.
