About Event

Event Description:
HACK4GOOD is a one-day hackathon organized by the Department of Computing Technologies at SRM Institute of Science and Technology.
Participants will work in teams to ideate, design, and build innovative prototypes within a limited timeframe. Exciting cash prizes, certificates, and refreshments will be provided.

Event Format / Rounds:

Round 1: Idea Pitch (Screening)
Each team presents their idea (2–3 minutes)
Evaluation based on innovation, feasibility, and relevance
Shortlisting for next round

Round 2: Development Phase
Teams build their prototype during the hackathon
Mid evaluation to assess progress and originality
Top teams shortlisted for finals

Round 3: Final Presentation
Demo + presentation (5–7 minutes per team)
Judging based on implementation, impact, and technical quality
Winners announced
