About Event

This course will provide a basic understanding of basic signal processing algorithms and their implementation in MATLAB. Detailed hands-on training with rigorous practical sessions and complementary lectures will teach the participants to understand as well as implement the basic signal processing algorithms. After successful completion of this course, the participants will be able to import, process and manipulate the real-life signals using MATLAB. This course will be suitable for UG and PG students who are interested in having hands-on experience with signal processing using MATLAB.

Workshops

The following topics will be covered.
Introduction to Signal Processing, MATLAB Basics for Signal Processing, Signal Generation and Analysis using MATLAB,  Sampling and Signal Reconstruction , Fourier Transform and Frequency Domain Analysis, Digital Filter Design, Noise Removal and Signal Enhancement, Mini Practical Exercises / Case Studies,  Analysis of discrete time LTI systems, Z Transform Analysis of Recursive systems and Non-Recursive Systems, Applications of transforms in signal, image and speech processing.
