About Event

AWS Cloud Essentials Workshop is a one-day hands-on technical workshop organized by the Department of Information Technology, Kongu Engineering College. This workshop is designed to introduce students to the fundamentals of cloud computing and Amazon Web Services (AWS).
Participants will learn the need for cloud computing, cloud service and deployment models, and gain an overview of AWS. The session includes practical exposure such as creating an AWS Free Tier account, working with the AWS Management Console, launching EC2 instances, understanding AWS Lambda, Elastic Beanstalk, and managing Amazon S3 including bucket creation and file uploads.
The workshop will be conducted on 27 February 2026 from 8:45 AM to 4:15 PM at IT Park. The registration fee is Rs. 300.
This event aims to enhance students’ practical knowledge of cloud technologies and prepare them for real-world industry applications.
