About Event

Hackathon (Day 1 & Day 2 – 24 Hours)
The ElectraThon’26 Hackathon is a national-level, 24-hour innovation marathon where student teams solve real-world engineering problems using technology. Participants work in teams of 3–4 members and choose problem statements from themes like Agriculture (Modern Tech Issues), Smart Grid, Electric Vehicles (EV), and Internet of Things (IoT). Teams are given the problem statements on the event day and must design, build, and test their solutions within the 24-hour time frame. The focus is on creativity, practical implementation, and technical feasibility. Mentors and coordinators support the teams throughout the event to guide innovation and teamwork.
Hackfest (Day 2 – Technical & Presentation Events)
The Hackfest is a technical fest conducted alongside the hackathon to test students’ analytical and presentation skills. It includes activities like simulation modeling, analysis & optimization, idea presentation, and project presentation. Participants also take part in circuit debugging and a sensor-based quiz to assess hands-on technical knowledge. The events are designed to improve problem-solving ability, communication, and confidence. Hackfest complements the hackathon by encouraging both innovation and technical excellence in a competitive environment.
